What We Did
We tailored an extended 'quick launch' solution to meet the needs of the project timescales and complexity. As we had worked with Silkin previously and she was very familiar with WordPress and the Genesis Framework, she agreed to take responsibility for the uploading the content to keep the project within budget. We started the project by looking for a theme that worked best for the structure and content and decided on the Genesis theme Essence Pro for it's clean and simple design.
For the multi-lingual functionality, we choose WordPress multisite with MultilingualPress plugin solution.
We then set up the website environment, installed WordPress, created the pages and navigation and installed and configured the multilingual plugin so that the website was ready for the content to be uploaded. We then supported Silkin as and when she needed it while she uploaded the content, and once everything was finished we provided WordPress training for the church website administrators.

Silkin, an existing client who has worked with us previously, approached us to build a multi-lingual website for her local church in English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
Callia Web did a great job building our church website especially as it was multi-lingual. Jo ensured the project went smoothly and always managed to solve any issues we had. I have worked with Jo on many occasions and she has once again delivered an outstanding result. I would definitely recommend Jo and her team if you're thinking of having a website built!
