The Feature Custom Post Type Widget For Genesis plugin extends the functionality of the Genesis Featured Post Widget to allow it to work with custom post types and custom taxonomies.
This plugin is no longer being developed but can still be downloaded without support or warranty from GitHub and are free to use and edit it but please note.
One of the developers who contributed to the plugin, Robin Cornett, has since developed from scratch her own version of a featured content widget, that works with Genesis and other themes.
