Angela Billows is a highly successful costume designer who has worked in both the UK and USA in Film and TV. She is fully conversant with period costumes as well as contemporary fashion and wanted a simple logo and personal website to showcase her work.
We started the project with Angela’s logo, she was keen for it to be very simple and unfussy.
Angela also wanted a very simple and clean website.
We created a sitemap and wireframes to show the content flow.
Angela already had an existing website, but it had become very difficult for her to update and maintain. We were able to copy across many of her portfolio posts and create new posts for more recent projects that hadn’t made it to her old website.
We kept the design and layout very simple using a neutral colour palette of cream, gold, and silver which was inspired by the Oscars.
As it was a Simple Website project, the layout and styling were designed around her content. The process involved working within the browser for a more efficient turnaround.
Once the website was complete we provided Angela with WordPress training so that she could manage her website going forward.
