What We Did
As the existing Hoarding Disorders UK CIC website was relatively light with images, it was crucial that we selected a theme that could provide a clean and fresh new look that did not rely on large glossy images. Together with Jo we chose the Genesis Academy Pro theme as the layout and clean look and feel were a good match for the Hoarding Disorder's website.
As Jo already had an existing site, we started the process by creating a copy of her existing website on a staging server. We spent some time with Jo restructuring the content and navigation of her website to make it clearer and improve user experience. As an expert in organisation skills, Jo quickly came back to us with her website-ready content enabling us to forge ahead and start building the pages and navigation of her website.
We configured the front page widget sections to work with the content she wanted to promote which included her new book, training and services. Once all the content was in place we were able to make the majority of changes to the website colour scheme using the customiser, as well as the utilising the icons and button stylings that came as 'extras' within the theme.

Locally based Jo Cooke was looking for some updates and a new look and feel for her existing website Hoarding Disorders. As a previous client for another website a few years back, she approached us to revamp her website with a fresh new contemporary theme to match the branding of her recently published book.
I knew the time was right to revamp my website and having used Jo a few years ago to build my website - Tapioca Tidy, I knew I wanted to use Callia Web again. Both she and Leanne understood immediately what I wanted to achieve and I am very proud of my revamped clutter-free Hoarding Disorders UK website. Thank you so much to both of you.
